Q:  Is CPA responsible for the regulations that govern the rights of a psychologist to practice in the state of California?
A:  No, the California Board of Psychology establishes the regulations for the practice of psychology and is the licensing agency for psychology in California.

Q:  How can I become a member of CPA?
A:  Look at our membership categories, and join online.

Q:  Can CPA help me track my CE credits?
A:  Yes, our MCEP Accrediting Agency tracks the CE credits earned by psychologists, and reports those credits to the Board of Psychology.  More information about Continuing Education here.

Q:  I'm a psychologist and would like to talk with someone to get some advice about a question related to my practice.  Can CPA help?
A:  If you're a CPA member you are entitled to free consultation with our Director of Professional Affairs and/or with our Ethics Committee.  Call 916-286-7979 to be referred to the appropriate resource.  This is CPA member benefit.  If you're not a member, join here.
